Yield

The yield is the annual interest rate of a security expressed as a percentage of the capital invested. It also considers: the nominal interest rate, the purchasing rate and the redemption rate. The yield formula assumes the distributed earnings will be re-invested on the same terms (compare: Effective Yield).
